Some people feel that magic is not natural in the world (not to be confused with power given from the gods, which they're fine with) and its users should be shunned or killed. The idea is that magic is at best a crutch for the misguided and at worst can be disruptive (if not destructive) to the natural order of the world.
Since conjurers bring beings from outside what many would consider the natural world through the use of magic, and then "enslave" those beings (again, a point of view), you could see how that might cause a druid to grumble.
