It was fun there for a while. I haven't messed around with shamans for a while--kinda funny really, everytime I delete one I have this semi- bad flavor in my mouth because I decide I dislike the class at that point...yet, after some time goes by, I think "Damn, Shamans just sound COOL!" and roll one up. The class has some definite pros, but the main drawback (for me at least) is that everything they have just seems so stale compared to how it could be. Thieves, conjies, and warriors (to name a few) have all sorts of style...but the poor old shaman just seems like a dinosaur to me. But hey! I got myself into it, so don't go thinking that I hated it!
--PK Ratio was 25 wins, 6 losses. All but one PK death were to more than one opponent.
Goodbyes:
First and foremost, Valguarnera: Wow, you were a damn cool cat. I've interacted with you quite a few times, but never as a follower of your religion. I have to say, you are one of the best that I've seen, and I just wish more people would bite onto your religion (unless there are oodles right now). Sorry I never finished that quest, but I'll be damned if I didn't try VERY hard to do it. I wrote notes and held secret meetings with several people to make sure it went smoothly...but as we know now, it never went anywhere. I hope that pans out in some form...and hey, maybe you'll keep my plans alive for that one city alive. *wink wink*
Ghuljun: I think I respected you immediately. It takes some brass to use a lich in the way you do (drawbacks included), and you do it well, I believe. I really did want to do something with the golems...but just because I'm gone it doesn't mean that it can't still happen. Thanks again for putting your confidence in me, and I'm sorry I had to bail...but what point is there when it's no longer fun, right? Anyway, hang in there til' D-Day...you're not going to age-die or anything, and with your style you could keep on rolling, I think.
Ulzoth: You will be missed. I want to see a Drow Lich, damnit! Liked your pleasantly unpleasant Drowish attitude, and your gravitation towards all things macabre. Don't quit on us now!
Huromhaur: Really wanted to hurt you at first, and the damned moo-talk didn't help. But I appreciate anyone who sticks to RP quirks (such as your racism =p), even when they cause quite a bit of friction with would-be allies. It shows that you've got some cojones as well. I've got no problem leaving you the shamanic duties, my friend.
Zharaluzar: I guess the chair is all yours now :-P Show up more and this cabal might actually have a fighting chance. It's great when you are around.
Imperials: Asswipes, generally. I don't like gang-banging ####s, but I do see the rp angle for it, considering your cabal. I almost always hunt alone, or with only one other (and that's only when the target needs to be lagged!), and you guys seemed hell-bent on "bitching-out" whenever you had any confrontations...whether that meant calling down the horde on me, or getting a trib to come in and flag me while you made my night walker hit you. Sure, fine tactics I guess...but pretty wimpy, in my book. Just a news flash though...you guys are going to get raped by the Scions from now on, and I hope you're prepared for it.
Cuthul of Nrozgen, the Broken Clan, signing off.
