No, that crap is never necessary. It always begins with one guy who, for whatever reason, decides he needs his chums to help him kill a person who they would probably have a chance against solo. Of course, the guy who got ganged and full-looted can either work his way up again with crap gear and (in my case) a virtual ####load of enemies, or he can grab an ally and attempt to get some vengeance, which is the most efficient method as far as time and landing the kill against the (now) much better armed opponent. Unless some code were implemented to keep every fight one-on-one (which would obviously be bad and nigh- impossible in some cases), there will always be the opportunists. It is, however, sad that ANY members of the cabals you mentioned use gang tactics, because in truth, they are absolutely not necessary. And as for last night....really, what are you talking about? I recall you singing me to sleep, and I was _alone_. You had a mace spec and a spear spec waiting to gang me once I woke up. Considering I was still recovering from a recent Imperial gang (what do ya know?!), and we had both a healer and shaman present...what did you think I would do? Maybe happily be ganged down again? No, I don't think so. As for running around with Huromhaur, that's really untrue. It can be said for every current Scion that we prefer to hunt alone. You may see us walking around together sometimes, but it usually is just that we ran into each other when we were hunting. Of course, sometimes when some fidgety Imperial just runs and runs every time he's summoned, it is nice to have another shaman there

This I know, but it still ain't easy to avoid 9+ Imperials.
