Chapter 4

The Yard Clain believed strongly in keeping each other healthy.They would
train Juudsnelf in the Yard yard with other Yardlings, and they would bonk
him on the head with pickled pillows. Pickled pillows are the softest pillow
that can touch every skin. Juudsnelf was so excited every time the pickled
pillow touched him, that he would go into a comfort-frenzy and not be able to
think straight.This process was used to trick his brain into thinking that
he will go into a comfort-frenzy any time he does not keep his companions in
good health.

After an evening of avoiding being too comfortable (if you know what I mean),
Juudsnelf walked up to a fellow Yardling. "Let's go somewhere exciting."
The Yardling looked at him and said "Only if you can answer my riddle."

"Why can't we just travel first?" Asked Juudsnelf.

The Yardling went on to explain, "We are a proud clan. If others request our
aid on any matter that does not directly relate to our own cause, we must
test their worth to see if we should go out of our way to help them. Because
I am the official leader of logic, I ask questions of obvious logic."

"Riddlytommens me away, then." Juudsnelf replied.

"What is the square root of a pear fruit?" inquired the Yardling.

Juudsnelf pondered the question for quite a long time. "Dinkly dopper." he
finally replied, with the utmost certainty. The Yardling give him a nod of
approval, and said "Very well done. Now, may I travel with you?"

Juudsnelf knew what the leader of logic wanted, and asked "Snoggling is to
boats what Mirages are to.." the leader of logic finished the sentence for
him "dinner tables."

Satisfied, the two left on their journey into "The Unknown," which was the
name of an area that everyone knew and loved.
