Chapter 2

Entry 5:

Dear Father.

Father, much have happened since I talked to you last. I was
removed from the fortress because of my strong belief in
the teachings of Lady Yean, but it has to be mentioned that
I was accepted back after some things was discusses and
sorted out. The issue revolved around my relationship with
Siphana, whom I have mentioned to you earlier.

This whole ordeal has left me with a sour taste in my mouth,
and I have decided that I have no interested in gaining the
friendship of all in the fortress. They are my allies, and
I would protect them with my life, but some will stay allies
and perhaps never be called a friend.

Father, I must mention that I have also attained the peak
of the guild of paladins. My guildmaster has put the trust
in me and learned me all he can. The Lady has also blessed
me with temperance, with this gift I have gained self-control
and restrain in my actions. Meaning I defend myself extremly
well, and thus are better suited to take the front of battle
and stand between the light and the darkness. But this new
knowledge has come at the price of my combat potency,
leaving me less able to slay those I fight.

Where do I see myself in the future? I will continue to seek
the guidance of Lady Yean, and seek the knowledge that will
further my holy crusade. I will seek the acceptance of the
patrons of the fortress, and prove to them that I am worthy
of being accepted as a maran.
