When I logged on, you were level 14. I attacked beckett 7 hours after logging on in Voralian. I didn't attack you again. When I logged out, you were level 18.

So, it's a long log I'd be happy to email to an IMM to verify (as if they have nothing better to do), but suffice to say what you described never happened. Maybe you have Seltie mixed up with another char. Maybe Seltie curb stomped your alt and you're mad about it.

Either way, your smear of this char is baseless.

So far as I can tell there's absolutely no evidence (much less proof) it DID happen. The story here is "thief attacks a ranking group and gets killed, and then another thief attacks the same group shortly afterwards." That's it. That's the entire story.

For some reason Lhydia is taking this as clear evidence of cheating. I'd be upset if I got accused of cheating based on literally nothing too. I don't think that's something this community needs. If you accuse somebody of something you should be ready to post clear evidence, otherwise keep your mouth shut.

I have a log of me attacking his groupmate in Voralian. It's very long an spans his going from l14 to l18. I don't feel like breaking it up into 10 parts to post it when frankly it sounds like Lhydia's just trolling now anyway.

Notice how your log starts at <60%hp, paste the part before that from Tir-Tilath.

The part where I log off as Seltie, log on as my other L15 thief rager hopeful, attack you and Beckett, die, then, before the next tick, I delete the ghost thief, log back on as Seltie and attack Beckett?

I couldn't find that part. So, whatever. I just wish you would not hurl such accusations toward anyone. Because even based on what you say you witnessed, cheating is the least plausible conclusion.

I've had ragers who didn't get a mage kill until the 40's and Seltie's was L31 I think. It really doesn't bother me.

You almost die to chill touch, then you flee. Very easily can happen in 7 ticks.

At this point you will probably doctor a log up and that's fine too, I don't care. I'm literally just saying you don't have to cheat to get a mage kill and I feel like I made my point. If you do not feel like this describes your rager playstyle then just move on. If I was actually wrong that is what a normal person would do after saying 'you're wrong'. He said I deleted the dead thief, logged on as Seltie and attacked him in the same tick. If that's true, this shows I wasn't the other thief because I would have been logged in for 6 hours before the other thief died.

Of course, it's not true, because I was in Voralian for more than an hour before I attacked Beckett and I saw no one attack him, though he was covered with bleeding wounds when I arrived.

This whole thread now has me bored.

I didn't cheat to get a mage kill. First you said I tried to kill you with a second character after you killed the first. Now you say you were a l 15 warrior. I don't know what you're talking about and am starting to wonder if you know yourself.

Thief #1 attacks the two while they fight a merchant mob after warrior engages. Thief #1 dies to chill touch somehow in 3 rounds.

Thief #1 quits immediately, does not even attempt to come back to corpse for any gear.

Thief #2 (Seltie) is in Tir-Tilath within 1-2 ticks attacking Necro while gear is sorted. Almost dies, flees convulsing.

Seltie is on who list at the very bottom during a pretty active time frame.

Shady as ####. But like I said, it doesn't really matter.

Because I attacked a necro/warrior pair in Voralian around l 15 and was on the bottom of a who at the time.

Seltie logged on 7 hours before he attacked beckett in Voralian. You two were killing commoners. Beckett was in perfect health when I attacked.

Seltie didn't get his first mage kill until around level 31. If I was into cheating to get a mage kill, I would have had one at level 11.

You're right in that I don't have 'evidence' because I wasn't logging, but I assure you I wouldn't have remembered the situation if you hadn't attacked the same tick the alt died and didn't return to corpse.

Do you realize that even if everything happened the way you say it did, there's a much greater chance that

1) some lowbie deleted after you killed him and a totally different player attacked you in the same tick.

And there's an almost 0 chance that:
2) You killed my l 14 thief rager wannabe, so I delete him and log on as my OTHER l 14 thief rager wannabe (because I always make clone characters) who happened to have logged out some time prior in the same place you killed the first character so I could attack you. In the same tick.

I could easily see Pro saying it was him just for ####s and giggles so I don't know whether or not I should apologize to the guy for obliterating his death thread, although it doesn't look like he was going to respond anyway.

I haven't read this whole thread, but it caught my attention and I was curious what the logs would reveal.

It looks like on March 3 Beckett was attacked by a 15th level H-Elf thief named Kyth (11:21:12). Kyth died to Beckett and Arrisuli (11:25:16). Kyth logged out 9 seconds after dying (11:25:25). He logged back in 11 seconds later (11:25:36) as a character I won't name, but not Seltie. (EDIT: It was Orn, now that I know he's deleted.)

Seltie was playing a marathon session that day, but quit a couple times during it for short breaks. For this time window, Seltie quit at 10:05:36 and logged back in at 11:29:48. Seltie initiated combat with Beckett at 11:33:33.

Kyth and Seltie do not share IP addresses.

Assuming I have the right day/incidents, this information may be helpful in settling the dispute.
