#2326, "Addition to the "practice echoes" from Zulgh."
|
I posted this as a reply to his post in "announcements", but maybe you guys thought it was too nice to implement?
Anyway, the idea goes like this...
This is Zulgh's new echo right here. Echo when you are wielding a weapon you don't know: You are spending more time focusing on a fist of lightning, to even attempt to learn the nuances of nova!
My idea was to swing the pendulum the other way when you are wielding something that you are good with. (Your learning would improve once your weapon skill hit 90%, and get better all the way up.) To clarify, an example would look like this:
Echo when you are wielding a weapon that you are confident with, or have mastered. Your mastery with a jeweled dagger allows you to concentrate more on learning the nuances of nova! You have become better at nova!
I say that this change would increase the chance of improving, and even the percent increased by 1%, or 2% for weapon-oriented classes, who, by default, are so adept at their weapons that they don't even think about them as they use them. It's like how a martial artist becomes so trained that every action becomes a reaction, and fighting becomes a reflex.
Anyone digging this? If you're not, do you enjoy practicing? Bizarro I'm helping!
