Empire is one decent choice to get more used to the caballed world, because induction is mostly automated or can be if you prefer it. I think Fort and Nexus tend to be two other cabals that are relatively newbie friendly. I could make a case for Tribunal being so as well, though I think that fluctuates a bit depending on the leader.

Once you've been caballed and heroed a time or three and feel like you have a better grip on the basics of that, all the options will be on the table for you, but for now, let's aim for simpler.
