taking my sun point and extending it to the fact that Luke lives in a Galazy far far away, I will assume all Luke needs to do is just chill out and let Superman come to him. In his Galaxy the yellow rays of the sun would presumably be too weak to enliven supermans with "super" powers and thus Luke wins easily.
