Chapter 14

Sekope stands within the middle of a stretch of Endless Wastes
sand surrounds him every direction he looks. Wrapped around
his wrist are five blindfolds. All around him he can hear yell
and screams, Varnon the Commander of battle, can be heard
yelling across the great expanse. A womans voice hauntingly
taunts and threatens amongst the yells. Sekope stands motionless
a blank look across his face, shaking his head a moment he scans
every direction. Little provide the releif of a way forward.

Then a single voice the womans voices calls out taunting him, just
for the briefest of moment clarity comes. With the words:

"Know the way or not, my fate here is in the hands of others
for there to be even the smallest of chance I must push forward."
His feet finally gain some direction forward. Wandering the wastes
pushing back what he can eventually Varnon crosses path, the two
together eventually find the woman. While the blindfolds do the
trick, and they dont become another in an array of statues the
blindfold gives no chance of fighting the woman. Removing it just
in time to see Daphedee land the killing blow. Sekope knows he has
failed himself he swallows a little as he can feel the noose
tightening around his neck.
