Chapter 2

Ahjevhil has had much time to get to know the world. He has made several
realizations. The biggest of which is that magic itself is an unnatural
disease that is slowly weakening the mortal world. He feels that direct
magical diseases like scourge and plagues responsible for potentially
destroying the world, but also feels that any time a mage accesses the veil
they are allowing the disease of magic to potentially infect the world. Magic
itself causes the weakening of the mage and brings impurity, thus inhibiting
the potential for creation.

Due to these realizations he has sworn the oath of the Battle Rager to
Tahren. He hopes to join the Village one day soon as a defender to use his
strengths in herbal lore to assist with the overall destruction of magic.

He has spoken of his mission to Strienat, who he will call his Lord. He burns
candles and offers prayer to this natural God in hopes of having faith to
back his herbal remedies and fate.
