Flaaayin had believed the villagers to be the greatest warriors
in Thera, but story and rumor and reality seem to be extremely
different things. Do not get Flaaayin wrong, they are great
warriors, but they lack a certain amount of wisdom to their
decisions in war which cost most of them dearly. Foolish choices
that if thought about even for a moment, would scream idiocity.

This discovery has been Flaaayin's biggest Gaping Maw experience
for himself. There is such a lack of using all the tools in the
War tool bin. Failure to use deception. Failure to understand an
enemies' weaknesses before engaging them, frankly failure to
know anything about the enemy before committing to a battle.
Or things as simply as carrying about provisions when you quest
out for battle. They simply starve to death upon the field of
battle and then are easily killed as they cannot move!

Flaaayin has no problems pointing fingers either.

For example, the all powerful Zrakkna. the village seeks to take
the Scepter from the Scions, a good thing. Motivated as he is
he goes running off before any preparation and begins the fight.
Not the smartest thing to do, but the rest of the village
catsh up with him and the battle goes well. No one faces any
opposition so risk taking is not the best idea. Zrakkna
instead presses himself lose to death, flees from the Archmage,
sits for a moment as Flaaayin bandages some of his wounds, then goes
back into the fray half death. Well the Archmage turns him into
full dead very quickly. And there is no gain, no reason, no
anything to be so foolish, yet there it is. The morale of the
village crumbles due to this, and many scatter and give up.
Flaaayin has to drag them back to finish the assault, which
is done and the village finally come back victorious.

Flaaayin laughs at the humor this moment brought him. Flaaayin
will continue to do as he does, killing and fighting in the most
deceptive ways possible. And use his quick mind and wit, mixed
with a host of wisdom, to work his "magic". Will Flaaayin do
something about this? Perhaps or perhaps not. On one hand he
truly enjoys watching bone headed berserkers do something foolish
and be surprised and awe struck that they die quicker than
an elf babe in a warg den.

On the other hand, nah, no other hand. He will enjoy it and
apply his own wisdom to make fun of the berserkers as they
die.
