Chapter 1

After my Captain had taught me the lesson I so badly needed, I was brought on
the brink of utter destruction. The first step to overcome it, was to restore
mentally. Initially that was impossible, because I did not wish it. Then that
Bard, - likely Malthalia, even though she denies it -, came along.

From then on, it was only a physical recovery. One that came with a vast
amount of scars, and a deep pain within. At first it was a slight nuisance. A
pain that came when the wind blew coldly on a hot day. But now that I am
three hundred years old, I am not exactly a youth anymore. Nay, as my body is
feeling the weight of time, the physical burden manifests itself more
frequently, and more painfully than ever.

No, I do not look forward to getting any older, like this.
