Role

Chapter 1

... She concentrates on the sleek black and orange shaped figure she has
grown so accustomed to.. but cannot find it within her. The three defilers
that stand around her are joined by more and more. Lawmen stand around with
their guards, she can see the look of sadness in their eyes, knowing they
live life in bondage. Imperials later step out of the woods too, with each
step they take turning the ground into footprints of concrete around them.

Teldasill cries out, and without care for her life, she tries to pull the
concrete from the ground, digging and digging to the base but it seems as if
concrete posts are going to the other side of the earth. She spins around in
a circle over and over looking at every defiler surrounding her enclosing her
into a perfect circle. The sounds become louder, and louder... sizzling,
scratching, crying, orders being barked, and the earth whimpering back all
rolled together into a conglomerate of chaotic pain.

She stops spinning and just yells "MOTHER! HELP!"

An an instant, a giant surge of green light bursts from her diminutive body
and she watches as if time slows. The force picks all of those surrounding
her from their feet, and she watches as they slowly fly into the air and back
down with their backs to the ground... time speeds back up again and they hit
the ground with such a force that the earth swallows them completely.

The ground begins to heal where the conjurer stood, and the concrete melts
away and turns to dust as the wind picks it up to fly through the night sky.
A rush of peace overcomes her and she hears a voice.. "Continue to listen
Teldasill, you subside the pain and do well. When it looks like all hope is
gone, remember, Thera is mine.. not thiers. And you will never be overcome
with me by your side."

*Teldasill wakes up safely in the fern, and nods to herself trying to calm
her own beating heart. She stands up with a tear in her eye and rides the
wind into the Refuge to share what happened with the others*
