Chaos is full of contradictions and dilemmas. Here is the deal: IC any action on your part (e.g., asking directly for induction) has no predictable reaction, so asking/doing any one thing has the same chance of you being considered for induction as any other. However, OOC if you never tell me that you want to join, how am I (as a person) to know you're talking with me in order to join Entropy or if you're just talking with me (I get plenty of both). Your character needs to figure out a (hopefully creative) way to give me your OOC intentions while remaining IC.
