You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

I've got a thousand, but I'm going to go with this one for no real good reason at all:

Druids are a cool class, but some areas (if I recall correctly) don't have an herbset and so you can't gather (at all) there even if there is plenty of wilderness. My memory is hazy, but I want to say this especially effects area explores.

Can we instead get either a random herbset if the area doesn't have one set, or utility herbs if same?

I'm punting this one to long-term. I'll see about making a project out of this that other Immortals can pitch in on once I wrap up the bulk of Santa Umi.

Only areas that are predominantly wilderness should have herbs. That much I'm not interested in changing.

If you can provide me with some examples or a list of areas you think we've overlooked that fit the above criteria, I'll look into it. I don't have time to review all ~250 (or whatever) of them right now myself. I may add the additional caveat that I don't think small areas like dragon lairs need herbs.
