You actually have to fully spell out suicide to use the command (suicid won't work). What did you honestly expect to happen when you accidently used it? Or is it more that you didn't actually understand the repercussions of your actions before suiciding?

I was a total noob, I mean like my first week. I had heard someone mention they had to suicide to get out of a bad spot and I thought is that a real command? There was no helpfile so I typed it to just to see.

Not a big thing, that probably doesn't affect a lot of people, but it sure set me back (the XP loss, not the death itself).

Hmm...well we've since fixed the help file problem, that is for sure.

SUICIDE
At times when all hope is lost, it is possible to kill yourself so that
you may continue your adventures. You will have to gain back experience
when you die in this fashion. You want to try to stay alive!
