#85, "Slight more detail for ritual of abomination affects."
Edited on Wed 26-Nov-08 06:36 PM

While most phylacterys show up as the specific spell/skill on affect list, there is a small percentage of them that are non-descript on the affect list/when they wear off. Such spells currently show up on affect list looking like this:
Spell: 'ritual of abominations' for 93 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'ritual of abominations' for 3 hours. Spell: 'ritual of abominations' for 15 hours.
Would it be possible to add a small flag besides each such affect so they are more informative, such as:
Spell: 'ritual of abominations' (oily stone phylactery) for 93 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'wraithform' for 3 hours. Spell: 'ritual of abominations' (oval lapis phylactery) for 3 hours. Spell: 'ritual of abominations' (clouded ruby phylactery) for 15 hours.
as well as having a similar flag when the spell wears off so it's possible to know what has worn off, from the current:
The effect from your phylactery fades.
to:
The effect from your oval lapis phylactery fades.
Thanks for your consideration, awesome work as always.

There is no easy way to do this, and I'm less concerned with it.

It's not what you asked for, but I added additional messages to the wearoff affect of each of the phylacteries that will tie it to the message you get when invoking it. Again, there is no easy way to tie it specifically to the "clouded ruby phylactery" without doing far more work than I want to. This should basically give you what you're asking for. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Thanks, additional wearoff message would be great. I wouldn't worry about the lack of affect flags either upon reflection, as that can beneficial in certain cases. Looking forward to seeing the changes in effect.

You will still see the old message, but you should see a second one that is more descriptive as well. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

The extra line started showing up a day or two ago, I believe. Thank you, they're perfect.
