#24, "question about PK, scion, and mergulla"
|
If I wanted to play an aggressive scion, would the slothy nature of mergulla rule out me being a follower? Would it be difficult? Could a role be written such that PK was the easier road to a desired result than some other action - and is therefore actually the lazy road?

I think Habbs is right here. This is a PK mud and you are pretty much going to have to get involved in some PK throughout the life of your character. Just put a spin on it. Maybe that by taking 5 minutes to kill someone and it giving you a half hour of their ghost time to sloth it up is your reasoning. Whatever, it can work.

If you are aggressive in a counterpoint to Mergulla's slothiness, I would think you could write a role that would be a match made in hell (good).
For one, you could enable her to be more slothy...doing things so that she doesn't even have to bother herself to blink an eye to do it herself...for you to act as she does, you could work hard at PK to make other things for yourself easier...be it less pressure for light lovers, or getting things you want without having to go out and find them all...lots of things. Hell...even just acting out not doing something because you can't be bothered with it right now.
In my mind, for a lot of religions it is about preaching the word, and converting to a way of life...but for Mergulla it is about pleasing her first, and then becoming more like her with time, and then perhaps seeing the likeness spread.

And SERIOUSLY, not to be rude or start a flame fest or anything at all like that... waiting for four days for a response to a forum post makes me think this is not a god you want to have to rely on for empowerment.

I might be around during the day from work keeping an eye on things and occasionally making a comment or two but I generally won't do much real interaction during the day and especially not an empowerment.

According to it, is it possible to take your attention as an applicant to the Chasm at day time? (It's really hard to play at evening for me!)
