#7915, "Identifying corpses"

When fighting many on many fights and you die, it has happened several times that I took stuff from a corpse that aint mine, by mistake, messing up the whole gear regathering thing.

I was thinking about a way to solve this, other than the 'get all x.corpse' system that is active now. Especially when the winning side has dropped a lot of gear on the floor, finding the right corpse to take your stuff from can be hard.

My sollution would be to add the identifying names/words of a PC/Mob to his corpse.

An example:

The corpse of Janice lies here, badly sliced and hacked.
The corpse of Bart lies here, badly sliced and hacked.
The corpse of Tom lies here, badly sliced and hacked.
The corpse of Carl lies here, badly sliced and hacked.

Than Tom could do 'get all tom' to get his stuff.

Or, you've killed the Chief Kobold, with another (alive) kobold there in the room

An ugly kobold stands here.
The corpse of the Chief Kobold lies here, badly sliced and hacked.

get all kobold would get That is not a container. (as you are refering to the mob)
get all 2.kobold would identify the corpse (maybe hard to code, don't know)

Or you could avoid this mess (from the players viewpoint) and type get all chief, as the corpse now has the same identifiers as the original mob used to have.
