Hi. I read the helpfile and the thread and I think I get it but want to be sure, please.

If I don't get to the max xp that the helpfile lists before it has the "(L30+)", does that mean I lose out on edgepoints forever?

So if I can't get 10k explore points (which is a real problem for me, I go all over and never seem to get explore exp) before hitting level 30, I lose out in edge points which I can now never get?

Same if I don't get 15k commerce xp and 10k observation xp? If I hit 30 without that much, there are edge points I'll never get now?

By the way, if that's true, I might consider modifying them, at least the explore and commerce. Those seem really high to get before hitting level 30.

Those are level REQUIREMENTS, not level CAPS.

Hypothetically, if you ONLY started getting explore xp at level 51, you'd be eligible for all of the same stuff since you're above the level requirement.

That's why the level has a + after it.

That if I power level to 51, and then start working on Obs/Explore/Commerce, I'll get EP for 5k Obs, EP for 5k Explore, EP for 7.5k Commerce, then more EP for 10k Obs, more EP for 10k Explore, more EP for 15k Commerce? And then EP again at 15k Obs, 15k, Explore, 30k Commerce, and one final time at 30k Explore?

In all reality, unless Umiron himself jumps in, it's all *some* degree of hearsay/assumption. From how I read the helpfile (which Umiron wrote), it's as Ishuli said, how you describe, and Ksatida agreed.

If that makes you feel better, sure, but the helpfile's about as accurate as any other information, and players can be just as helpful with.

As Jorm said, that's to the best of our knowledge.

Everything was mentioned as a base requirement, not a top cap. So any mention of levels should effectively tell you "SO LONG as you are AT LEAST this level, you qualify for them at this amount".

And the hypothetical I remember was: you rank up to 51 and literally do none of it. You are STILL eligible for all the points.
