Far harder than most other mobs of the same level.
One of the toughest amber spots there is in terms of standing in front of the mob (others are situationally much harder).

Because it means easy 5-charge wand with level 54 aura.
Way better than spending an hour lumbering through a maze, or killing a super tough mob (for your build), only to get a 3-charger.

But even when it was a panther, as a mid ranked A-P there was a good chance of dying before coming unlagged from trying sleep (poison/plague/bleeding being the only practical way to kill it)
