The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. #58992, "Hometowns and recall"

For those who have one of the small hometowns I've never understood the logic or need in recalling to one of the big hometowns after a PK fight, it's just a confusing mechanic to me. So, could we perhaps change this to always recalling to your actual hometown..?

Also, noticed a typo with Evermoon Hollow in the hometown help file:

HOMETOWN HOMETOWNS CITIES (78)

Your hometown is where you will recall to (unless it is one of the smaller cities and you have been fighting too recently) and is where the pit is to which your corpse will decay. You can pick one of many cities as your hometown:

- Hamsah Mu'tazz, Galadon, Seantryn Modan, South Dairein, and Balator are for all alignments.
- Voralian City is for good and neutral only.
- Evermoon Hollow is for good and neutral only wood-elves only.
- Arkham, Udgaard, Barovia and Dagdan are for evil and neutral only.
- Tir-Talath is for neutral only.
- Ayr'Trinil, the Arial City accepts humans, cloud giants, and arials as residents.
- Akan is for good and neutral dwarves only.
- Blackclaw is for felar only.
- Hillcrest is for neutral gnomes only.
- Darsylon is for good elves and half-elves only.
- Upper Cragstone is for neutral svirfneblin only.
- Orcs dwell exclusively in the Grinning Skull village.
- Goblins are tribal creatures and do not use registries.
- Wood-elves have unique wilderness-based hometowns.
