This flaw doesn't allow you to use the newbie channel nor does it allow you to take edges. by design?

A post won't show up until one of the forum moderators (Typically Zulg) reviews and has an answer of some sort for the post. I've had posts that sat in there for months if Zulg's busy or it's a particularly frustrating bug.
