You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

I didn't give it much thought until recently, but I think survivalist might work to the ranger's detriment in one aspect: "You are too full to eat." Earlier today, I think a real life hour passed in between a healing sleep and my attempt to eat... and I was too full. (I don't think I'm exaggerating although I admit I'm going on my observation and not by a stopwatch.)

There are some times when you want to be able to eat something.

Am I correct in my observation? Would it be possible to tweak the time in between full and slightly hungry to allow rangers to eat those pills et al more often?

There was a logic error that slowed down hunger/thirst way too much. The rate should be back to the designed one after the next crash/reboot.
