I think it should be possible to target your cancelation on your own spells. After all you know them well enough to cast them, you should know what is required to remove them again.

Also, held items. I'd like to be able to hold two items no matter what. It makes little sense that I can't hold two shield, two daggers or two pieces of bread. After all most races got two hands.

cast 'cancellation' (without a target) to cast cancellation
on yourself.

If you mean you should be able to target individual spells, no.
