How often does the exotic skill swing lag?

Is this a good option for conjurers who want to lag? Or should we get Battlemage training & Lash? Or should we use crushing hand wands?

When I was on my conjurer kick, I got swing and batter to 100% on a couple of them, and batter was always a better idea.

Swing is okay though.
