How about introducing legendary races to cf. Make it like minotaurs, each race only has a few slots.

You could bring in some races to fill certain nitches in the game or create more unique class combinations such as centaur goodie druids maybe. I mean there have been plenty of race suggestions over the years that may be hard to balance as full scale races but perhaps having 2-5 of them in the game could provide interesting experiences.

A non-humanoid race like centaur would be a lot of work to implement, considering it would have entirely different gear slots.

just nix leggings and about and allow 2 sets of on-hoof type footwear and tail, their upper body is humanoid for all the rest.

Centaurs were just a suggestion I am sure there are plenty of other micro race ideas out there that could serve.
