Reviewing recent prays, I feel like there's a certain amount of confusion about how to pray for immortal assistance in a time of need.

This would be acceptable:

Hey, I could use some help here!

This would be better:

Hey, I need some help getting my stuff back!

since it gives us more information in deciding who should field the prayer and what questions they should ask to understand the problem. In the case of this particular example, anyone who had read help pray extra would realize this isn't somewhere that we're going to help you, but the general principle is sound.

An example of how not to get help:

This would be especially true if, for example, you had been banned from the game due to a long, long history of cheating and general unpleasantness and were only able to play at all due to a combination of swearing to be on your best behavior, a certain amount of begging, and me being a sucker. In a case like that you'd probably have been told that, in the event that you sneezed funny or generally were a pain in the ass in any way, everyone on staff would be encouraged to not waste time and get rid of you again ASAP.

Fortunately, most of our players are fairly reasonable folks and would pay attention to that kind of strongly-worded conditional-pity-allowance-to-play.
