The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. #16106, "Should shaman keep "locate object" commune?"

I've been thinking about the relative increase in the strength of shaman recently, given that they have edges and others don't.

It struck me that shaman have locate object.

Does this still make sense, given the change to animism and locate object for paladins etc?

Wouldn't it make more sense, and be more balanced, if good shaman could locate blessed objects and evil ones cursed objects?

Perhaps throw in divine power and infernal power attack types?

I think it's fine for right now. It might be something we talk about if a shaman class revamp beyond the scope of edges happens, though.
