You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Heey there Santa,

Firstly, sorry for posting my original ideas twice. I was thinkin, WTF its broken...then muttering to myself about how smart I was when I remembered the whole 'moderated' thing....

Aaaanyway,

Howabout having a mob in The Village like Alduk in the Inn? A lot of longer lived ragers are either banned from the inn, oft-wanted, or both, and don't have reliable access to accurate lore.

Fair enough? You could even make it Rhuean or one of the other mobs already there.

Thankyeh good sir.

I have no sympathy for people who are banned from the Inn. That is entirely a player's choice. Personally I'm not a fan of having a one-stop shopping center for all your identifying needs inside a cabal.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

The other side to this is that, unless I am mistaken, all village aplicable classes get lore. And, since lore can improve as you earn observation exp, it is not nearly as hard to master as it was a couple years ago, so in most situations long lived ragers should have or, at least could have had, a high % in lore if they practiced the skill.

The people that would benefit the most are probably the low level villagers that would no longer needs to walk to the Inn.

Jusy two cents worth.
