Here's an ability I always thought vultures should have: a way to tell if someone is injured.

It can be either an automatic skill, so that when you type "where", you see a flag that says they are bloody next to their name, or possibly show various levels of injury. Alternatively, it could be a separate skill that you have to type, much like ScentOfDecay, but it would show a list of all injured PCs nearby.

It's no hawkeye, but I think it would be a nice tool at the vulture's disposal and it would fit in well with the theme for that form.

I agree it fits with vulture, but I specifically stayed away from something like this, because I think it becomes a bit too easy to just find hurt people and hunt them. Air majors have it very easy to find folks as it is, and this just takes it to another level.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I don't disagree with you about how powerful it might be, but what about hawkeye? That gives even more detailed info on how injured someone is than just a yes/no injured flag.

What if the flag is just a boolean on whether the person has perfect health or not? Or possibly a boolean that shows their "quit"/"guild entering" status? This way you'd only know they were fighting someone recently, but not how healthy they are.

None of your suggestions address my concern. You suggested a where-like ability that says whehter or not they are hurt (and possibly to what degree). Hawkeye at least makes it so you have to consciously check-out folks, not opportunistically notice someone hurt and just go pound on them. As I said, air majors have it easiest of all to find someone and they don't NEED this.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Can the skill be used on a player that the form 'cannot' flyto?

I have been jumped a few times by a certain fortress air/offense but only when really injured but he was not able to flyto me but instead had downed and then walked over and whilst I was distracted by the wife of baby, caught me with his rake!
