There's nothing more frustrating than someone wimpying out of the first hit of a flurry or something similar. Wimpy shouldn't be a savior from what should be a killing hit.

There are some skills (magic missile comes to mind) that are specifically designed to track you even if you flee, and others that are subject to the powers of wimpy. Flurry is not one of those.

Because there are plenty of things that will stop you wimpying, so you effectively have to forgo these if you want to be able to take advantage of wimpying from, for example, flurry.
