Where are you paying the withdrawl fee from?
- The 20 gold that you withdrew (giving you 19g XXXs YYYc, instead of the 20 gold you asked for)
- The coins you currently have on you? (what if you don't have any coins?)
- Your bank account? (what if you don't have any more money in the bank?)

I think the simplicity of the current system covers all of these questions very easily, while your proposal makes it unnecessarily complex.

When you deposit coins, you select the amount, and type of coin to deposit. Hence...

deposit 5 gold
deposit 10 silver
deposit 4000 copper

and so-on. When you withdraw it, you only select the total amount you want withdrawn, in copper. Hence, for his 20 gold withdraw, he should be using

withdraw 20000

ending up with his 20gold minus the withdrawal fee.

Personally, I'm used to how it is now, as you're either depositing specific types you have on you, or withdrawing a specific amount, but I could see the argument for having the same pattern for withdrawal and deposit (I always hate trying to deposit silver and figure out how much I'm actually depositing in total value).

To me: withdraw 20 gold, means you have 20 gold in your hands when you're done (which means withdrawl fees have to get tacked on somewhere).

The idea was to be able to withdraw with using "withdraw 20 gold" instead of needing to type "withdraw 20000" the withdrawl fee should still kick in and I will only be handed 19g XXXs YYYc. But yea if its alot of coding I wouldn't do it eather.
