You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#467, "Fighting in the Inn"

Can we make it so that where there's a bouncer of some sort at the Inn, they have maybe a 50% chance to toss whoever attacked rather than just fighting them. Villagers kill a LOT of RP for people who are trying to emote and talk and have fun in the Inn and it just takes a lot of the fun out of the game when you're playing it for RP instead of the murder everyone aspect when everything is generally "emote smiles and looks over aflee" *lagged out and dies, run backs to Inn to person looting while guards hardly scratch them* Would be nice if there was at least a chance for them being useful, or some sort of deterrent. As it stands right now, you're about as safe standing in Market Square for your RP. At least there they have Tribunals to kill and loot them, where as if you can find one of the Heralds all they can do is toss them (if they aren't the one being lagged out and killed. As it stands with that, a Herald generally can't preemptively toss out someone just because "Thems Villager, must be bads!")
