You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#47, "Tribunal Hometowns and Criminals"

Two quick questions.

Is it possible for Tribunals not to have their hometown set to the city they are assigned. I do not see why you must have City X as your hometown when you might want Udgaard or Arkham as your hometown. Is there a reason for this?

Is there any real punishment for people that become criminals and hardened criminals besides when they get judged? Do shopkeepers, guards react differently to them? Is it possible to make it that way, so that if a person is judged a criminal, special guards jump on them first, or maybe make it so that the guards will attack quicker depending on how often one has been made a criminal. Increase the speed for criminal, and if they are a hardened criminal, make the guards jump on them instantly.

Done, five times over. One time I've had vandalize, I barely used it though cause it wasn't working correctly. If you are talking about prep's and purchases, an outlander should not be buying stuff from the getgo. And there are mobs about that will still barter with outlanders when they are wanted, so not really a problem.
