Two of Three

I created Zauvoult after the frustrating experience with Fauaqi. I am sure it was pretty obvious we were the same player. A fire giant sword specialist with Ward of Blades for defense and Outcry of Steel for gathering preps.

I must admit, this character worked out to a tee. I had my own special source of haste preps that no one else seemed to know about which made this character. At 51, I never entered a battle without at least stoneskin, protection, and haste. Since level 20, when someone gave me a sword of wailing souls and then I found one on the ground later, I NEVER had a removable weapon in my main hand, and 50% of the time, I had a no remove weapon in my offhand. This was a pure powerhouse character and he was powerful indeed.

I never did choose my second specialization. I only stuck with swords and it just didn't seem like I needed anything else (which I didn't). I kill more people with flurry than anything else. Why bash when I can do 7 or 8 DEMOLISHES and DEVASTATES and bring people from perfect health to death? Ugly, ugly indeed.

Goodbyes:
Scions:
As I said with Fauaqi, you guys always had it together, at least the older ones, Dranolian, Dullameh, Kriovhan, Dwoggurd. There were a few hopefuls in there as well, keep it up.

All Scion Transmuters: Thanks for the hastes, kept me from having to prep as much .

Immortals of Scion Please Read: The cabal itself is not very much fun, specially as a warrior. The main reason people join is so they have some amount of protection and some people to group with, they certainly DO NOT join for the powers. The direction of the cabal is well, what direction? It doesn't seem to be going anywhere. There doesn't really seem to be a concrete goal, and those who are involved in the "special" quests are 1% of the cabal, and that is 99% of the rest of the cabal who are annoyed. Scion NEEDS to be changed, in my opinion. Empire was so much better because it had a concrete goal, had politics, had interesting interactions. Please change it.

Battle:
It as fun fighting you guys and seeing it from the opposite side. Some of you were good, most of you need to develop a sense of tactics and stop relying on "deathblow" as your get out of death free card. It hardly worked and I took a lot of you down because of it. Your assumptions of just thirsting and winning the battle worked with Fauaqi, but not with Zauvoult. It just made it easier for me to kill you actually .

Rhuean: You just stick out as being a good player and a good battle rager and a very good defender. Good job.

To the Destructor: Whomever you were when you yelled, "Zauvoult, bring the war yourself!", thanks. Was fun raiding and taking the head by myself. I never knew it could be done until I was in there, hasted, stoneskinned, shielded, protected (all preps I got myself) and actually winning. The one time I did it where the head dropped into my hands I said to myself, "Damn I never knew that could be done". (This was done without a run to the healer either). I think I just got lucky with Destructor choice of weapons.

Fortress:
The river of paladins. Paladins everywhere. Paladins paladins paladins! I think for just one week all paladins on the mud should be forced to play and during that week, they cannot use wrath. Lets see some tactics arise out of it. (I am six inches from making a paladin and putting it in my role that wrath is stupid and leave it at 1% to show you people you don't need it).

Warlocks:
Fun fighting all of you. For being masters of magic (the good kind) a lot of you didn't have a good grasp of what to do, especially the invokers. Maybe I just caught you guys on off days.

Sylvans:
I loved huntin sylvans because I felt so powerful. There was little you could do to me and so much I could do to you. Had lots of fun fighting all of you.

Scarabs:
?

Entropy:
?

All in all a powerhouse character and to be honest I hate powerhouse characters, just too easy. I'm a glutton for punishment I think.

A small note to all the sword specialists out there, do not discount cross-down parry. I used it so much once I got spike toed boots and it would pull from OBLITERATES to ERADICATES. I never used double thrust really, it was either cross or flurry.

I always like your charactors but this one...I cant believe you played him. Never stuck around....always in large groups....ran...ran...ran....It was not a typical Goapa charactor. I would always see you log in, check your range, log out.

Maybe in your role or something....

Goapa, you have my respect. This charactor you played, didnt.

Be well.

Why not? I did a human shield spec a few years ago, used spam rarely, once or twice when ranking. It was mostly angels wing, tanking like crazy and the occasional com heal. Worked just fine.

A scion warrior who overstepped his bounds and kept to his guns.

You pissed me off with how you "roleplayed" fire giant intelligence. It got really annoying. But it's not something I like to do either.

Why did you play three characters at once?

So, good job with it, and good luck staying away...I mean...with school. Fall semester, yea...yea!

Oh, and this one is "The vault"

I started with Vizzimir a long time ago, but the roleplay was so intense I got burned out. So I roleplayed the repitilian slumber and a molting time and took some time off and made Fauaqi. Fauaqi came about, I burned through him and that was that.

I went back to Vizzimir and realized I was not having much fun with him nor was really ready to give up the warrior in scion idea. I took what I learned from Dwoggurd and from Fauaqi and made a powerhouse character and went at it. Played him for awhile then got this idea, "hmm I'm going to be quitting soon, I want to return to the village" and created Uilin, and Zauvoult hit the backburner. At no point did I play Zauvoult while playing Uilin. Each time I sat down, it was Uilin, but granted, Uilin was a burn out character. I put a ton of hours on him, all from August 2nd I think .

One of my friends told me that the best way is to play like crazy for two weeks and then just give up cold turkey. It seems to have worked because I really dont have a desire to play anything now, except to remake Uilin and stick to poison track all the way through to get grenade, but that was just too much work.

All in all, I had a lot of free time to play because my job ended on the 31st of July and I start school on the 20th. So I took some time to burn out on mudding and now I'm taking some time to play some golf and to some other stuff I have been wanting.

Hope that answers your question. I hardly every have more than one character going at at time, but this was just a open season on free time, I thought I might as well.

Didn't know it was you this time about, although with my most current character I interacted with you little, mostly in the role of dress the warrior (You're welcome for all the pretties...). Only one real comment...golf?

It is my replacement for CF I think.

Maybe one day you will see me on the PGA tour . We can dream can't we? If I put as much time I put into CF into golf, I'm guaranteed to get there . Only problem is golf costs lots of money compared to CF. Something I don't yet have.

Let me see if I have the whole idea of golf down...

You hit a little white ball with a long stick...then you chase after it, hit it again, repeat...and when you finally get it into the hole in the ground you've been aiming for, you start over? Appeal of this is?

It's a lot better to be outside, really. It is a good hobby to do with other friends or to make friends. It's addictive. You'll hate your entire day of golf and then on the next to last hole you'll birdie, or hit a great drive, or sink that 35 foot putt. Then you'll want to come back the next day and try it all over again.

Personally, I love the single competition, where it's -me- winning, not a team or some other aspect that I have little control over. It's all me. Yay.
