Was my first Fortress character, and I guess I just wasn't ready for it. At any given time I was logged in, I normally had something like 10 evils in my pk range. With one goodie to counterbalance. It was a rare time when I wasn't outnumbered, and the number of Fortress characters has dwindled so much that defending against Scions and Imperials was just a death sentence. Lots of ganking, and lots of full looting, and I just figured I wasn't good enough at pking to handle the odds. Don't get me wrong I killed a lot of evils...but it just didn't seem worth it, reequipping so much. Well, I'm weak and so I delete. Thanks to anyone who thought I might be something.

Thanks, already made a new character so I'm back in. As for ganging orcie. The only reason Dameond helped me kill you was because he wouldn't let me not let him help. Kill him on our terms he said. And that's hardly a fair share.

I don't know what class you were, but believe me, it is quite possible to face those kinds of odds and do well if your character is geared the right way. Try making a character that can utilize teleport and word of recall, such as a mage, and see how it goes. If you have the patience to make an invoker, you might be pleasantly suprised at how well you will end up doing. Good luck with the next, and don't give up on the ol' Fort.

Thanks, part of the reason I deleted was because I felt, no one really even knew I was making such an effort at it. Good to know someone was watching.
