Konrad: Fancy speaking bard heh! Thanks for the nice words when I went and died. You'll definitley be a force to be reckoned with once you hero and get those songs.
Ulvhamn: You're a badass chess player. Might've been the only non-rager Rhome considered a friend too. What's your rating? :p
Ghuljun: Damn hard-to-kill bastard. Killed me too you did. But I think I got you back.
Thornarcrull/Merzofzyauhn/Jarldar: I hate healers. Not so much because of the actual powers, but because as soon as a healer arrived, all my enemies would gather around him, and go take the head without me being able to do anything about it ...
Punblinpo: Fun talking to. Obviously got some skills too. If you just had shown me you were more than a ganker...
Straklaw: Don't know what to say since I usually never get what you're trying to tell me anyway :p
Jhard: I never felt like feeding your shark's munchies. I find it strange that you think 'tang is a poor form for killing ragers though.
Rogost: Enjoyed fighting you as lowbie.
Gwies: Ostrich quick!
That's about it....

Last time you did more than enough ;P
Shouldn't do it in Tar Valon. As I said, I truly wished truce with the cabal, but alas. You chosen to fight me, and soon as possible I revenged. I think you are only one villager of the last months who managed to get me. Damn your cranials, damn your entwine. I'll find a way to negate these cranials - unblockable bashes that makes sick everyone but the villagers.

If healers would have powers to fight without gathering groups, they would not be a healers, but a butching machines (i.e. paladins).

I would play a paladin, but a dark one - and not the anti-paladin class. But it won't be allowed, or, even if it's possible, not with my roleplaying ability - lack of ability to speak is not so terrible as the lack of ability to use emotes.
Lightside sucks. It's for the childrens. Damn, give me the true paladin, not nicely smiling, baubling rosy snivels!

What can I say. I had a great time. The current generation of villagers is the best one I've been with in a long time. Too bad there were way too few of us. I was determinted I would condie, and that was probably my greatest achievement as a player. I don't know how many times I felt like deleting after a big good ganking.
Goodbyes:
Imms: Kastellyn, thanks for the interaction and the tatt. I always get itchy when I speak to immortals IC. Don't know why, but that's how it is :p. The healing quest was cool, but for a while I thought I would never find that damn herb. After I got my arm healed, I kinda focused on the basic battlerager things.
Big bad axe-wielding imm: That whole thing was very surprising and fun for me. Rhomelanthos was very tempted by the potential glory of ruling the world. But still he was a battlerager in heart and soul. Don't know if I was supposed to not dual wield when crippled, but I figured since it had other nasty effects I had to make the best out of the situation.
Thror: Never got to meet you much. But Rhome totally blamed you for the second time he got booted. :p
Intronan: Rhome got pissed when you left village, so he trespassed a bit extra in your shrine. Heh.
===================================================================== Battleragers:
Gre: Beast #1. You seem to be doing a great job as a leader. Somehow we always ended up dead when we were supposed to fight together though :p ... Perhaps we were too similar. Remembered you from way back, before I had even applied to village, you came up and was being all nice.
Broxx: Beast #2. Mean ass giant. Didn't get to see you much at the end, would've needed you against those clusters. Hope you manage to get hold of that sword before you die...
Rulghum: Beast #3. You're a fucking truck dude. Felt like we were at the same wavelength, so I was always a bit more laid back than usual when were rolling. Also the rager I had the most success fighting with. Our fight with Urzkoo and Zherukin was classic.
Derdhuin: Great job as a defender. We had a great roll me, you and Rulghum when we heroed. Never done it so fast before. (Only done it twice though :p). A cool thing that we both condied almost at the same time though.
Grogim: Sucks that real life got hold of you too badly. You were a truck, but a different kind than the giant berserker crew. That fight where you defended against 2 warlock invokers, a conjie and a transmuter was classic though.
Sabiene: Rhomelanthos was in debt to you because you healed his arm. But he hated you for your pacifistic style, but he wouldn't let anyone know. If anything had come up though, he'd have worked to get you oota village.
Senimar: Never hung out with you much, but you were a classic good rager. We had a damn close fight in the rites... Good luck and hope you keep staying alive.
Dalayr: Hehe you killed me both in our private fight and in the rites, you bastard! Was a bit bummed out that I lost to you in rites there, but I was taking a long shot to win.
Young ragers: I'm too tired of writing right now, but write something and I'll holler back.
==================================================================== Enemies:
Urzkoo, Braoldan and Sokoerker was probably the ones I respected most, all pretty skilled and willing to sometimes fight alone. There was some who did nothing but clusterfcuk, but I'll not say anything if I can't say something nice... so basically, write and I'll holler back.
Much love.

That was a fun fight, I was almost shocked myself at what I had done. Dying to Urzkoo i just took as a bonus, one step closer to condeath... I don't know why, but I kinda liked your playing style. I could handle solo invokers pretty easily 1 on 1... but if there was a raid with vokers involved, I learned to just get the hell outta dodge after a while.. .:p

To be honest, you were the only villager that really scared me much. Very well played. Your character demanded and had a lot of respect (at least from me), I really can't say enough good things. You were a beast and played a really different character, grats for that. Something out of the norm is always good. I really wish we could have talked and interacted a bit more, but Braoldan is very much so a loner.

Har! You know, I love lone-wolf style characters, so mega respect for doing that well. I was kinda baffled after that raid, you had me bleeding so I rested up in air above galadon. I'm not used having access to fly, so it felt like the safest place in the world... until you came over and killed me with one impale ...
Well played, keep it up.

heh thanks, I had plenty of fun fighting against you all the many times. That time when you logged on while I was just raiding bonded, I knew I was gonna get it hard in the ass heh I had pretty much no preps used at the time, and preps are the only way to fight villagers. One annoying day was when you kept killing me damn near after I'd unghost, while trying to rearm, so I'd keep having to start all friggin over again, that surely did annoy me a bit, heh. Basically I have to say positive all around, and ask if you have the log of when I raided before the Rites? I don't log much, usually I have to cut and paste later, if I do anything at all. Well good luck with your next one. And do let me know if you have an email I can reach you at with a question. I'll be seeing you in the fields.

Yeah, perhaps it was a bit immoral of me to kill you those times. But I figured that if you didn't wanna fight, you could just run. Besides, you were way too beastly, if I'd have let you grab two nodisarm swords you'd have been way too beastly. Rhome was good for fighting people 1 on 1, I had moves for pretty much everyone. But against groups I sucked, because of poor defense, easily exploited vulns and the fact that I was usually targeted first. (Because of the previous two)...
For the long, I don't have the whole things(had just logged on so arrived late, and couldn't stay the entire time) But here is what I got:

You were a fun one to watch. I don't think I've ever seen anyone move that fast before or play a warrior quite as smart. You definitely had some big brassy ones!
I figured you were going for the con-death towards the end, but I never saw you run into a battle and *try* to lose it. You still played smart, you still played tough, you killed mages and those who traveled with them, but stayed away from the others. In my book, you were pretty much a picture-perfect Rager from the outset. You stuck in there through some pretty hard times, and I'm glad to see that you went all the way and made it to the end.
You earned the tattoo as well. Do me a favor, if you still have it, can you email me your description? I meant to log it before your final death, but didn't get around to it. Shoot it to: kastellyn@carrionfields.com, and thanks.
I had a gut feeling you were Turetveskagg; you showed some similiar characteristics. Again, well played!

Wow, I never would have guessed you felt that way about Sabiene. Not that it would have mattered to her if she had known, though. I don't know that it's entirely fair to call her pacifistic, but compared to you... suuuuuuure... I buy that... In any case, Sabiene liked you, and thought you were doing a fine job as the berserker you were (although for the life of me I still don't know the story on what the Captain does vs. what the General does)

You were one tough mother pupper, especially in the rites. You were one of two or three people who just schooled me in a fight. That one on one fight in the rites was all you, on every level. Well fought there. I was and am very impressed with everything you did, including the crippling thing. I realized just yesterday, after thinking a little bit how much it actually hurt you, despite your ability to dual wield. And even though not many others knew how much it hurt you, I do, and I respect you greatly for going along with it. Way to go.
And finally, you were one hell of a rager and great to have around. The wavelength thing just happens sometimes with other players and you were one I had a good wavelength connection with. You knew what to do and how to do it and it was a wonderful break to get on and let someone else lead for awhile . Call me lazy!
And one last thing, damn did you burn through con quick. I play a lot and am no where close to where you were it seems. How much did you play?
You were one rock solid villager in my book. Way to go.

Yea, I loved it when the giant berserker crew would be out trashing... About the rites, you were the only one I knew exactly what I was gonna do against. Was the only of my solo opponents that didn't have FoT. I did think I would beat Dalayr and Broxx too though, if only choke hadn't sucked so badly ...
And heh, I can't believe how fast I spent my con either. My discipline is really lousy, so once I logged on I'd usually be stuck for 4-12 hours, and on average die maybe five times... If I had played only semi-cautiosly, I could probably have cut my death rate by 70-80%, but that's not what raging is about, is it? :p I do feel like rolling up a new bartlerager under your reign, but I gotta regain lost ground in school. However I just broke up(good news girls, Marcus back on the market!) so I should have some extra time. We'll see!

I'm upset that you are gone. I was looking forward to coming up in the ranks and nailing some bastards with ya. I thought you were awesome, and the times i saw you fight, or heard those that you killed, I was amazed. You were a beast as well as Gre and Broxx. Alarin will miss looking at your kneecaps. Luck with the next one.

We first met around rank 15 while tuning our skills. Somehow we started to discuss combat strategies and warfare which lead to the chess. So we knew each other for a long time. Good games to bad you did not have a board in front of you for the second game. My rating is around 2120. Dwarfs are superior to giants in such games you know. If you want a rematch, send me a note.
You were brutal to watch. I remember that time you had the lion entwined in Galadon. I healed it some, then worded it, but before i manage to do `where pk` i heard it was dead. Very very fast.
Good luck on your next.

When you first said you wanted to play chess I was like 'aight, might as well take ten minutes to put this sucker into place.' But damn, with a 2120 rating you're almost a pro! And yeah, it sucked that I didn't have any real board. I downloaded gnuchess but never really figured out how to play human vs human on it, so it just ended up a big mess. And I really cursed when you opened with d2 d4... my only play as black is sicilian defense :p ... and the play I came up with just sucked. I thought I had recovered enough ground in the midgame though, but apparently not
When I fought you there in Galadon with the anaconda/lion, I realized pretty quickly that I could probably never ever kill you. One more reason to have you as a friend instead Probably the only paladin I've ever liked too. Most of them just runs around sancing and healing mages. Good luck, and I'm really curious about the identity of your player... I've got one good guess but we'll see

Damnit! One of the few heroes to have overlapping playing times with me. Though we never did end up hunting much together. I hated you in the beginning of course with all that insulting you did And that duel in the circle was extremely satisfying. After that you earned my respect though I quite often disagreed with your approach to a few things. That death to me in the rites made me feel terrible. Sorry about that.
Good luck with your next character. And make it a villager!

Rhome was kinda bitchy at the beginning, but it fit so badly with my personality that I mellowed his attitude down a bit. About that death in the rites, I understand it much better now. Didn't know how my short desc worked then. And yea, if I make a new char, it'll definitly be a rager! The other cabals feel so dull... But damn was I bummed out that I lost both our duels! Especially the first one.

At least I won't be standing helplessly by while you kill an assassin friend of mine just for us travelling with a conjurer you couldn't touch. What's the point to that anyway? Why kill the non-mage you can touch for being with the mage you can't...
Just some warrior.

Rhome resented all non-villagers by default. If they gave him a reason, he would kill them. After getting booted twice, he mellowed down a bit. If it hadn't been a hopeless task, he probably would've killed all potion quaffers and people wearing magic eq.

Rhome pretty much despised you from the start, after you helped some warlock kiddies retrieve the head. When we chatted later, I was unusually aggressive for some reason. I think it was because 2 mages had tried starting the 'why do you hate me? I done nothing wrong!'-debate with me right before I spoke to you. Anyways, looks like Xandrya was a much cooler char than I gave you credit for. (We didn't say much to each other after all ) good luck

Yeah. I remember that raid thing. I was like a real lowbie newbie (level 20ish) and I was asked by a mage to go on a raid. Not knowing what the consequences of that would be (ie becoming a name on the rager hit-list) I agreed to go along. Lesson learned the hard way . After that little fiasco, I decided raids were not what I needed to be invloved in. I forgot all about it until someone asked me why the ragers were saying I was thier enemy. I later explained things to Alarin and Rulghum and we got to be decent friends after that. Never got a chance to clear the air with you though. Besides you scared me, so I kind of avoided you.
