This was my first character taken seriously in CF, and gods the game is awesome.

The character was first rolled to be a lonely uncaballed ranger who does his own thing, getting used to the game. I was doing pretty much that up until the midlevels, but that time Corzu was playing as well and as a ranger has started to hunt me agressively with other forties. So I basicly was dragged into PK. Well, I didn't mind at the end. But the fact decided my agressive attitude towards Fortress which I having till the very end. Between tribunals/forties/empire/anyone I've always switched to fortress enemies. Childhood trauma, they call it

Too bad I've got understanding of the build I was playing when I was in hero range already, it would've been so much more fun if I knew it on middleranks. But anyway, playing Gromm was much fun.

And traditionally, some people I have something to say to:

Outlander:

Liantae - I loved you totally. And thanks for the induct. In 20s, I talked to you about outlander, but after you gave me the quest, I was like "oh go #### yourself, I'm not gonna go explore anywhere for some ####". Then I pledge, because Gargnok said I wouldn't get hit by deadfall if I do (he was wrong), and then you come and induct me (I was 46) when surrounded by enemies and interested in some backup I suppose. Anyway, your attitude towards fights inspired me a lot, even if it is not entirely applicable for ranger playstyle. Thanks for those lessons.

P.S. Oh and I hate you for forbidding me to ambush the enemies you were fighting. I knew you'd hunt me if I did so You've also ruined a redemption quest I've engineered for myself, but I guess it couldn't have gone other way.

Pon - the next nightreaver, and ballsy as hell. We had a lot of fun storming cities and fighting all over everywhere. It was fun, too bad you deleted quickly. POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Gargnok - I know you've said I've helped you to keep it going, well you've done the same for me. Having another frostie by my side was so much fun from the RP point of view. I've developed an idea of you being the frost giant shaman to Jormyr, so I was some kind of your bodyguard, going under your command. I hope it was apparent. Too bad you've deleted, but it did seem you were struggling pk-wise. You were cool.

Zsztyrr - the best gank partner I've had. Summon/bearcharge from camo is so mean. I also adore your attitude towards the game, with all of your characters, you're all around classy. Loved that a lot.

Ssaynblit - you've deleted quickly (buitd problems, I suppose), but I think I've learned a lot as to how to play rangers from you. Was going to learn even more, but well, you can't have it all.

Fortress:

Well, you guys were my primary targets, and here we go. There were so many of you during my character's lifetime that I don't really remember all of you, even if we had great interactions.

Corzu - man I hated you from the moment when you've started hunting me with Ryryk. I was like "oh come on give me a slack, I don't touch anyone, why would you bother me?". So first of all, I thank you for introducing me to CF Later on, you were the primary reason I kept going designing all kinds of strategies of killing you. I was exploring all kinds of preps and researching ranger skills, because ease with which were you killing me was astounding. There was a large span of time when I was going to delete after I killed you, because I was bored with Gromm, but desire to kill you kept me going. Thanks for giving me that last chance at Redhorn.

I was also totally serious about that Baerinika talk, but well you can't be on your way to redemption and be afraid of Liantae at the same time. So basicly I've ruined it myself, but I blame Liantae anyway On the other side, if I was turned neutral, so many paladins wouldn't have a chance of killing me with their wrath supplication

Adesoka - ballsy to no end, thanks for giving me all those opportunities to fight you, even if result was heavily in your favour.

Koob - the one who taught me about paladins the hard way. Getting beaten by you taught me about importance of necessity of surprise.

Rilanith - man you can't imagine my panic when I realized you can see me with that all-seeing eye of yours. Suddenly from the hunter I became a prey and god the feeling isn't pleasant. That was the incident that forced me to learn basics first, because hero range is so special with people having all kinds of different abilities and gear etc.

Empire:

Khalmarnasa - you were creepy as hell. I was really afraid (as a person) to coming anywhere near you. Gaspare doesn't have that feeling about him.

Zhabala - the ballsiest priest out there. I still laugh when I recall running from you around the Pyramid of Azhan. Going after a healer into no-recall area? Not knowing it AT ALL? Being a ranger? Just what could possibly go wrong? You don't know it, but I was asking Pon about "HOW THE HELL I LEAVE PYRAMID?" mid-fight, and he was like "well it's somewhere there", helped a lot It was actually you running circles around the pyramid to find me that allowed me to find the exit. I was monitoring your movement through where and found out the way to escape. Anyway, you were awesome, and that pyramid fight was epic and tons of fun.

Orcs:

Kobuk, Worthag, Azhag, Ugluzkr and others - you guys are awesome. Sorry for setting up in that orc rape city for all of you, it always seemed unfair.

And Kobuk - thanks for teaching me about importance of scan. I learned it by heart

Tribunal:

Jermet - I know you're pissed at me OOC as Bethanny, but Jermet was one of my favourite enemies. Taught me a lot about game mechanics, kicking my ass so easily. Finally you became a prey of choice as part of a imm quest for me, but I messed it up and then you stopped playing. Oh well.

Hippie - you're fun.

Scarab:

Jeede - sorry for ruining that scarab/reaver peace that was going. But killing a scarab leader was too tempting to try. I guess I've almost managed to succeed a couple of times, as well as you almost got me some other times. Made me rethink a couple of my strategies and make a playstyle more cunning. Thanks for that!

Nexus:

Talisin - well I've said it already, you have an awesome attitude as a player, and Talisin was a very cool character as well, loved you a lot as Gromm.

Battle: didn't interact much with you guys, perhaps that's because you have so little wilderness around your cabal

I'm sure I forgot many great people, but there were so much of you, and my son is calling me to go outside, so I'm out

Immortals - thanks a lot for maintaining a great game. You've made me keep going to condeath through a couple of your interactions, that one when I was going to leave outlander after Corzu's death has definitely pulled me out of the pit.

Jormyr - we didn't interact much, but being a frost giant paraseasonal champion created some sort of bond - thanks for maintaining that. Gromm called Jormyr his father, and considering his role entries, that was an important role.

Thanks for the great game guys, I enjoyed character a lot. See you in the fields!

You're welcome. Outlander really needed Gromm when you were working on leaving, so I had to do everything I could to try to keep you going. I'm sorry I was never able to do more for you, but you were really fun to watch. Hope you enjoy whatever you play next.

I had not been steamrolled like that solo in a long time.
