First you pretend to want to group, because you were too dumb to find me on your own, (SUPER super #### rp for a villager). Then you pop up and attack and die, and despite having a corpse chock full of goodies (The #### did you need with the Mask of Sekhtin Rah in the first place?) not only didn't I loot you, I didn't let the guy I was with loot you either, beyond the mask. My angel turns on me and I get killed, and you utterly clean me out, to dump all my #### on Tahren (classy. Real classy), then after leaving me almost naked you kill me as soon as I unghost, running your mouth as if it's hard to kill a near nude gnome mage. Then you spend the next 3 hours continuing to try and multikill me, using logging in and out to try and hide your presence from me including PAYING someone to break into my guild for you even though you should have been perfectly capable of it yourself. You were like a walking, talking example of how to be a villager without any pride whatsoever.

The mud is so much better off without you, I can't even decide where to start to describe it.

Paying someone to break into a guild is irrelevant to whether you are able to do it yourself.

For starters, if you pay someone the guy in the guild may ignore the assault until it is too late.

****What follows here is both a response to the accusations from Vladamir, as well as just some general thoughts on my character and how I played her.***

I never fulled anyone. Never even came close to it, actually. It's been so long since I played that I can't remember all the details of everyone I fought or killed.

I had the mask, which was acquired by another rager at the time who wanted it guarded for safekeeping from the hands of village enemies.

I do vaguely recall the fight when I lost the mask (and immediately after unghosting, stole it back). I went into a fight as a thief against a group of two with a strong warrior protecting the only mage in my pk range at the time. Yes, I died, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from getting my kill. I don't recall the cirsumstances when the angel finished you. I don't remember if I had struck you before the angel turned, or if it turned while I was still ghostly. My guess is that it probably turned while I was still ghostly, so I didn't actually get the kill for that. After you reformed, I went after you again since I didn't get the kill before. I never did any logging out/in to conceal my presence. There are other ways to do that without logging out. I don't know if this ever applied during a time of conflict with you, but there have been times when I've logged out between pk attempts to do something IRL, and then logged back in a short while later to resume PK. Again, not sure if that ever happened with you.

As for looting you, As I mentioned at the start, I never fulled anyone with Belulia. Given that Belulia was a thief, I don't think it's unreasonable for her to take things from a foe, especially potent magical things when the veil was thick at the time, and you had some items that were able to thin it enough to make a mechanical difference. I did not "utterly clean you out", nor anywhere near it. I took a few potent items to thin the veil. I do remember you throwing a bitch fit about it in the game, too, and recall thinking that your reaction was badly out of proportion to what I took. If someone else looted you after I left, that's not my problem.

As for pretending to want to group, you really should pay more attention to communications. It's one thing for a rager or applicant to ASK a mage to group, only to go kill them. I never do that with any rager. But that is NOT what happened with you. You asked me to group, not knowing that I was a rager. I did not agree to group with you, travel with you, or join you. I simply responded asking where you would be, and showed up to kill. There was no lie involved. Only your false assumption. Unless it was the warrior who did the asking (I forget which), in which case it was HIS false assumption.

As for paying someone to open the guild, as already mentioned by someone else, that was entire tactical. If I struck the guild, you'd just bail immediately and I'd have no chance to strike you. When I'm playing a mage, I can't help but wonder how stupid a rager must be to think that I'm going to sit there in my guild while he takes his time killing the guild guard, and wait for him to come in and strike me. Obviously, I'm going to recall or teleport out before he has a chance to come in. Unless I'm well prepped for the fight, in which case, I'll probably go out to meet him while he's engaged with the guard guard. Either way, if I know how to defend myself against an incoming rager attack when I'm a mage in my guild, I would be a colossal idiot to think that a mage victim won't use the same defense against me when I'm playing the rager. As such, you can bet that I'm going to employ tactics to remove or mitigate any evasive action on the part of my victim. This tactic is totally, 100% smart rager RP and tactics. It has nothing to do with my own capability of defeating the guild guard. It has everything to do with preventing you from knowing that I'm coming. Especially given that the one I paid was an assassin with 100% in tiger claw.

During Belulia's life, I used a wide variety of tactics to bring down mages. I paid people to spy of me, paid people to help me search the whole mud for intended victims, bribed people to betray the location of their groupmates to me, paid or even just asked people to open guilds or cabals for me while I remained hidden nearby, ready to strike, and yes, I also took advantage of people's self-generated assumptions. On this last one, I even got a few compliments from a fallen victim when they searched back through their screen buffer and suddenly realized that while they had been asking me to group, I had never agreed to do so, but just simply asked where they were, and they had foolishly given away their location without even bothering to verify if I was an enemy or not. I have followed intended victims into very dangerous areas, waiting for just the right time to strike to bring down a mage that under other circumstances would have had me for a light snack without even a burp afterward. In one instance, a shifter who had died to me once or twice a day while he was ranking. When he got his final offensive form at the first chance, he ended up with a tiger, and went out of his way to brag to me about it, and to inform me that his blood would never again stain my blade, and how much he was looking forward to sinking his teeth into me. I followed him and his group into Maethien ruins with gentle walk active so that I would not aggro any nightwalkers. They had no idea I was there, and when they stopped to rest, I let the tiger revert, and waited until the whole group had gone to sleep. As soon as they were all asleep, I woke him and tripped him to death. He blew up at me over tells very similarly to what you did, though I didn't touch anything of his except his coins. I also had several straight up, toe-to-toe fights. A few times, the commander took time to congratulate me on how many mage kills I had, even telling me that I had more than anyone else in the village at that time, including the previous Commander.

I really wanted to keep Belulia going and try for the Mageslayer title, but had other RL obligations that began to consume my time. As a result, every character I had auto-deleted. I learned quite a few things with Belulia, though, and I'll make another go of it in the future, when I have more time.

Artificial has always been a huge whining vagina - a trend he has continued since he first rolled on CF as Lortas.

I wonder if he'd say the same type of whiny #### about Adira, I truly do.

It is perfectly fine for a evil/neutral character to lie/cheat/steal to accomplish their own goals - now baiting a mage to group directly (getting them to come to you to bash them down) is in my opinion in poor taste - but not necessarily against rager dogma.

You're telling me that an evil scout rager (or even a neutral scout rager) has to be "prideful"

The whole pride/parity thing applies to BERSERKERS in the way you seem to think it applies to the entire cabal - it has always been that way.

Hell, I remember Manarei assassinating my first pally ever repeatedly - and Manarei was an evil defender played by Thror.

If you'd take time to learn about Battle dogma/politics rather than bitch about it incessantly you might understand that a scout/defender can arguably be played a lot more like a reaver than some "prideful" berserker.

The fact that you speak with such authority upon how a rager "should" RP yet in the same sentence prove that you know absolutely #### about actual rager RP is hilarious.

Keep bitching, and I'll keep laughing.

Here is the only snippet mentioning pride from "help battlerager":

Villagers are proud to rely soley upon their own battle prowess as they wage their war, and eschew the use of priestly blessings in all but the most limited capacity.

Here from the SAME helpfile is a snippet about scouts:

Scouts are primarily focused on stealth, gathering vital information about the enemies of the Village, and exploiting that information during combat.

And here is a copy of the tablet - which are the 'rules' of the battle cabal as it were:

This is the legendary Tablet that bears the original Commandments that
all BattleRagers were bound by. Though the Village and its beliefs have
changed over the Ages, there are still those who follow these tenants as
well as the tenents etched on the plaque in the War Room. Once rent
asunder by the mighty axe of BoltThrower himself, it has been repaired
and now serves to remind Villagers of their proud heritage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Six Commandments of the BattleRagers

1. The gods of Thera and our mortal leader deserve your utmost respect
and shall be obeyed at all times.

2. Necromancers, Invokers, Transmuters, Anti-Paladins, Shapeshifters,
Conjurers and Masters of the Five Magics pervert and subvert the powers
of the gods. They are therefore our enemies, and shall be destroyed.

3. Priests are to be tolerated, for they are empowered by the gods, but
they are not gods themselves. Their powers should not be embraced
anywhere other than the shrine of your deity.

4. It is forbidden to beseech or manipulate any form of magic other than
that expressly mentioned above. To do so is to mock the gods and a
blasphemy of your combat prowess.

5. Avoid all that have succumbed to the charms of magic. It is your duty
to put any under such a charm out of their misery.

6. Those who repeatedly display a lack of courage when engaged in
personal combat, including outnumbering your opponents, are not fit to
be a Battlerager. In times of war or great danger to the cabal,
however, parity is less important.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

As (I hope) you can plainly see - none of this forbids using deception as an advantage - in fact the writings in the war room not only condone deception as a valid tactic, but encourage it.

Furthermore, he used the knowledge gained by his deception to strike at a mage and died to the mage+his groupmate. So he single handedly ran at a group of two - please explain to me what part of that contraditcs this snippet "Villagers are proud to rely soley upon their own battle prowess as they wage their war, and eschew the use of priestly blessings in all but the most limited capacity."

Pride != honesty. Battleragers are not paladins in barbarian clothing - it is perfectly acceptable for evil ragers to be evil, and neutral ragers to be neutral.

Just that all villagers are supposed to be proud, as I thought that in making your case you might be saying that only zerkers had pride.

The deception side is another matter. I personally don't buy into the "it's fine if they approached me" view but if you want to I am not saying you are wrong. For me a betrayal depends on how it is handled. If you run your groupmate's moves to zero or whack him when he's convulsing after fighting at his side, that's cheesy. If you say something that he should realise is a danger sign but then whack him from full strength while he is still figuring it out, I don't see that as a problem.

Incredible to me that vets of CF view these acts as something alignment based.

These are means to an end, the choice of when, where or to whom to apply them is a factor of ethos, not alignment.

I had been hiring that particular assassin to assist me with training skills as well as a variety of other things for a while. We'd had a lot of interaction and a good relationship going. Before I paid him for the strike on the guild, I asked him how he was coming in his training with the tiger claw. He said he already completed his training in it. I suppose he could have lied to me about that, but given what I knew about him already, I had no reason to think that was the case. In any event, he still failed his tiger claw strike, so it's kind of a moot point.

You can try and excuse yourself, lie, or pretend whatever you want, but I went out of my way to be classy, and you went out of your way to be a cunt. Then you lie about it here, which means it has nothing to do with your character or a role, and everything to do with your own personal character, or lack thereof.

Also you probably shouldn't be this invested in this gaming situation. Seems like you might be a little stressed out again in other areas.

As for other situations stuff is fine, at the mo. I just wanted to prove my point about what a sack of #### Belulia was, after I went out of my way to be a classy foe, since he denied it.

Disclaimer: You took a few beatings that day and I promised myself I'd only waste 10 minutes on this, so it's quick/rough work...

You died to Belulia. Belulia looted a few pieces (8-9ish). He gave 7 items to Tahren around that time, I can't tell which were yours vs not. Jurupa looted two items, it looks like. And of course in your log we see you got a few items back.

Could the whole encounter have been more sporting? Yeah, sure, but encounters like this happen every day in CF. Not looting someone doesn't entitle you to jack and it doesn't oblige them to do or not do anything either. It feels like (could be wrong) that you made a huge thing out of pretty much nothing, particularly here but also IC as well (based on your dialogues with Belulia). Woosah, dude. Wooooosah....

P.S. If you calm down, I'll consider taking "vlad" out of check_parse_name()!

EDIT: Typos.
