I'm going to say not really, but I could be wrong. If Sebeok or someone has tinkered in something, they can chime in if it relates.

For what you're after, I don't think it does that. There might be a slight advantage, but I don't think it is in being a better poisoner so much as not getting poisoned yourself as much.
