Gained a control at rank 36, Rank 40 now and I cannot cast it....
I dont get this. I was told to post this on the bug forum by an imm.
The spell is not in my spell list, The weapon that gained the control
was destroyed. I dont get this.

The control spells have varying levels, but none are as low as 40. You can earn a control before you can cast the control.
