Experimenting with templars defense while sparring, we noticed that the first maledicting strike had an effect, but then none after that would have any affect.

example: Cross first would have its intended affect. Next Slash hits, but no affects. None for any other maledicting strikes either till the affect of the cross wear off.

This was true with whichever strike we hit first. Only the first strikes affects would appear.

Is that the way its supposed to be? Seems a little strange that if I strike my opponents legs, then striking his/her hands would not have any affect.

Thanks in advance for the clarification/fix.
