At some point offensive area spells not class skills (talismans/invokes/etc) became aggressive to conjurer pets belonging to that conjurer. The last conjurer I played did not hit it's own pets with spells and things. This is 100% changed within the last 3-4 years.

ITEM being used to retrieve.


A ball of fire erupts from your hands, engulfing the area in flames.
An elemental yells 'Die, XXXX, you sorcerous dog!'
Your fireball EVISCERATES an elemental!
Your fireball MANGLES a luminous archon!
Your fireball MASSACRES XXXX!
