How is he able to see hidden? Is there a special ability he has as a Marshall that was added? Noticed I stepped out of the shadows. None of his equipment appear to give him that ability.

"I don't know how X" does not mean something is a bug. The bug board isn't a place to inquire about your foes' abilities.

Your log also doesn't show me anything aside from you being in combat. It doesn't show me you, it doesn't show me how the first combat started, your score, etc.
