My santa shimuli request is for these items, when worn, to have a chance of causing adverse affects, notably 'curse'.
Each swing of that cursed sword has like a 4% chance to cause a 5 hour curse.
Each shield block has a 8% chance of causing a curse.
Can scale the duration of curse up or down based on the item level. Level 51 = 10 hour curse.
I would also suggest making leader weapons NODROP instead of NODISARM.

The intent is to create a potential cost to the benefit of using cursed items. The curse would be randomly applied to the wearer or wielder of these items, not to the opponent.
Benefit but at a random and potentially debilitating cost of being cursed.

I’ll move this to gameplay but I really do wish that leader weapons were changed to nodrop instead of nodisarm. Seven of the 11 leader positions get them and it really screws over numerous tactics (not counting council or provincials). With a smaller hero base that frequency of availability is just imbalanced imo.
I forgot to count Cardinal and Other acolyte leader. 7 of 13
