#32, "half-elves with dex as prime stat"

My santa Umishuli christmas wish is (hopefully) simple. Allow half-elves who choose dex as their prime stat, to instead of having that last point go into str automatically (ie half-elf dex warrior has 23 dex 20 str, whereas half-drow have 24 dex, 19 str), allow them to choose where they put that last point, so we could have 22 int or 20 con or 22 wis or something.

For me: Not a fan of bending race stuff, and I'm fine with the restriction as is.

For Umi: He's fine with the mechanic remaining unique to human.

...would be to categorize half-elves with 24 dexterity as human/wood-elf hybrids, rather than as human/high-elf hybrids. I was always a little puzzled this option doesn't already exist for half-elves.

It's easy to think of wood-elven society as relatively open to interbreeding with (worthy) humans, as it ought to regard change, adaptation, and the acquisition of promising traits as natural.

By stark contrast, high elven society can be expected to be (far) more socially conservative on this issue; due to its uniquely deep history, rich culture, and high-standing magical achievements.

but personally was hoping for a bit more flexibility. (esp since half-elf assassins get 24 dex already)

No in-game rationale is required. Half-elf thieves and assassins already get 24 dex. The race has always been capable of it (and genetics don't really work that way anyways). The 23 dex max is warrior-specific.
