Having played three provosts, Provosts have far more offensive power raiding and hunting down criminals even without bloody shackles.

My holiday wish is to give vindicators lieutenants flavored for their RP angle.
Easier coding request would be that they are essentially lieutenants instead of regular special guards restrung.
Super duper version is that they are class specific vindicator style guards like the provosts conscription. Maybe random for flavor.

Being on the other side also, I much prefer fighting a vindicators “regular special guards” than a provincials lieutenants in town (which I fear) and a provosts out of town which is a nightmare.

I think the vindicators should be the most feared or specialized.

Neither Umi nor I think Vindicator guards are bad. They're nice to have. That they aren't Provost lieutenants is fine with us.

BUT

Now Vindicator guards will have a new, cool name. And they can get angry in combat.
