Request: allow targeted leverage (spear/staff-spec skill) as an opening attack. Maybe that would make a little-used skill a little-more-used and spears are fun. Cheers!
Leverage is fine, and is in fact better than it was before since it got touched up. It stops wimpy. It can also do VERY high damage. And can land with very good rates.
